2 games to be moved and instead played midweek in an already congested season, causing hassle for working class people up and down the country in the midst of a cost of living crisis who've already forked out for travel, tickets and hotels so we can watch a funeral costing millions in taxpayer money. Champion. God save the king.

Agree mind. It's an absolute joke if they get postponed. I don't see what it benefits.

Next they'll be blaming the cost of going to the match for the cost of living crisis.

Yes.  Pretty sure she would have wanted all Premier League games to go  ahead.

To be fair I bet she’s attended more cup finals than any of us. ??

More postponements = more midweek games = greater advantage for teams with the most depth

Also the greatest disadvantage for teams with a higher intensity pressing game who are lacking in depth.

Less games til January though...

It is understood that several sports, including the Premier League, will hold emergency talks on Friday to discuss whether sport should resume at the weekend – with most hoping to do so depending on the public mood.

Obviously some things are more important, but just from a purely Newcastle United perspective, it'll not be ideal if the (tough away) West Ham match goes ahead on Sunday (with the current injuries), but the Bournemouth one is postponed. Good chance we'd head into what would then be an international break with no wins in 6, more than 2 months since the last win, and another away match when they return.
