NUFC Transfer Rumours

Aye, the difference potentially between a first-team pushing CM and RCB and just squad fillers.

I mean we could be doing the leg work now, lining up a couple of players for last-minute moves should Isak be sold. But the way the summer has unfolded, we'll probably start scouting and preparing bids at that point

At this point give me Richarlison on loan

Whatever happened to that RW ST at Dortmund? The fast one we were linked with forgot his name he could be decent but not out and out striker

Adeyemi? Bit of a ropey injury record I think

We’ve done absolutely zero to address squad depth. I know we wanted some of the peripheral/older players to go but we wanted them replaced…. what’s going on? Season starts in a week!!!

This is what is pissing me off. But I guess it's still important to get the right players in for the sake of a couple of weeks so got to hope we have some irons in the fire.

At this point I think we're going to struggle to sign literally anyone else, maybe a couple of loans. Holes all over the squad but we're utterly desperate and everyone knows it, hence we're going to pay top dollar and then some for anyone we approach clubs for. We've had good intent to kick on massively but been well and truly been fucked over by a combination of media and agent leaks, the Isak saga and executive chaos/incompetence. Don't see any way out of this, this summer. Need those leadership roles filled with quality and a new approach for next window.

Remember the Ashley days when we knew nobody would join us?  Now we’re offering millions and they still won’t come!  I’m not sure which feeling is worse.

I can see the crowd getting very angry if we start the season without a striker and holes all over the squad

Think we'll rally behind the lads who are out there wearing the shirt with pride tbh.

The crowd couldn't muster up a fart under Ashley so I'd be disappointed if this happened like. It's not good but fucking hell.

Yeah we probably hobble along, get comfortably knocked out of CL and other cups and then hopefully new staff will be in place and they will do some business in January to try and salvage something from the league campaign. Likely attempt to sneak a conference league place.

Barely a peep from them about Ashley, but that Ayoze fucking Perez cunt!

I'm not angry, more disillusioned and wanting answers from what has been (at least currently) a very amateur summer window from the club.

I don’t believe that. I think Isak wanting out since last season fits with them trying to find a replacement. Isak only spat the dummy publically when Ekitike signed for Liverpool. We’ve spent half the window trying to replace Isak. Why?

I also don’t believe we have the capacity to spend the amounts on Ekitike without an Isak sale. Nothing we’ve done suggests other wise. All big bids have been on a forward. We haggled for a few million for Trafford for a year, we don’t appear to want to spend over £40m on a defender and even less on a midfielder.

But if Liverpool wanted Isak so badly, why buy our wouldbe replacement? That's obviously just going to piss us off.

Probably (well no doubt will be) in the minority but I sort of admire our stance this summer. We're doing our best to hold on to the best striker in the world, we're doing our best to sign players that the "elite" are in for. We're doing our best to go toe-to-toe with them. It's not happening but I'd sooner this approach than us just bending over and accepting our position as one of "the rest" who'll be their feeder clubs and go for lesser players. We'll probably end up having to do that in the next few weeks anyway but I don't think it's a lack of effort or ambition.

 This is way worse because we felt like if the club was utter shit maybe Ashley would fuck off, now we have everything we wished for and no one wants to play here. We've been fucking monkey pawed something rotten.

Usurper James Trafford

Usureper Joao Pedro

Usurper Benjamin Sesko

All those traitors who refuses to join us, hopefully they would have a disastrous stint in their "dreamclub"

Trafford didn't reject us. We pissed around trying to agree a fee and lost him. 100% on the club, not the player.

Coz they want both and will likely get both. As much as they are cunts they’ve played this perfectly

isak has checked out. I’ll be amazed if we dont land on someone and ‘reluctantly’ let him leave

Nope, I don't believe they'll get Isak now. If we had 'been allowed' to sign Hugo then yes, we may well have sold them Isak. But they've fucked us off, leaving us with nobody near to an Isak replacement, so now we're gonna fuck them right off.

Don't even know who I'm supposed to be angry at at the club. They've tried with hands tied behind their backs and come short because of regulations against, would you credit it, clubs that don't have their hands tied behind their backs. Its completely different to the Ashley era or the champions league summer shambles of Dalglish, Bramble/Viana (albeit hindsight) and Bowyer *except in outcome.

Don’t be naive us being fucked if is irrelevant
