TRon
22 minutes ago, The Prophet said: I wouldn't say this is "bad" like. We have three injuries, one is due back in two weeks, the others roughly six weeks a piece. It's not ideal, but we're still in pretty good shape. When I said bad, I didn't mean in quantity, I was meaning in quality. Wissa, Tino, Hall and Ramsey are all first teamers, and would probably make a big difference. Losing Wissa for almost half a campaign is quite a hefty blow. But I did say that if we can stay in touch, we could have a great second half of the season. Scoot
Could only happen to us where we lose our 2 first choice full backs for the same period of time at exactly the same time.

And, if you're being a bit conspiratorial, it's intentional to create the best 18-20 year olds possible so they can sell them?

The College Dropout
Many of them didn't play much first-team football; it is Chelsea after all. Can add Reece James to that list. There are notable exceptions to: Gallagher, Chalobah brothers, Aina, Hutchinson, Guehi, Maatsen, Gilmour. But from the last 10 years more than half have had serious injury issues. I thought it was just he said 6-8 weeks, and people initially assumed he meant 6-8 weeks from now (early December) when he meant 6-8 weeks from when the injury occurred. The article he posted about a hour before said early December as I was confused about his tweet saying November international break then you read his article it said early December. No explanation from him to say the info on the article has changed

Checko
I'll believe it when I see it: When Botman arrived, looked class and took Burn's place, suddenly Targett got injured and Burn got to play LB. When it became clear Burn couldn't manage LB any more Botman's knee goes again and Burn takes his place at CB. Now Botman's back again and looking class at CB, suddenly Tino and Hall, both go down and who gets to play LB? This can't be a conicidence. Either Hall's gonna suffer an injury setback or Botman's gonna get taken out. Don't fuck with Dan Burn.
