Fairly bright TBF. Looked to have a go at his man and get crosses in.

The small steps continue. But 3 positive performances in a row.

Worth a start at some point, surely?

Don't know why he won't give him a start on the right and let Barnes play on the left. Gordon doing absolutely nothing to justify being picked every week. Let him play in the Champions League games. He seems to be interested in turning up for them.

Good showing? What on earth were you watching? [emoji38]

A dull performance, from a poor team, with many far worse players today. Dummy.

He’s good at getting opposition booked, but still not seeing what he’s supposed to offer us. Had Mings standing up and didn’t take him on. Crossing is better, but it’s clutching at stuff.

He is really average and nothing won’t change that. We will get our squad use out of him over next 5 seasons, but it’s as a back up winger. We have to sign someone in summer who’s technical but that would mean now moving Murphy on to facilitate it :(

He wasn't very good at all again. One or two good runs and that is it.

Has to be better than that for what he cost.

Strong contender for one of the flops of the season

Even when he does the one thing right (pace) - the end result is rubbish 9 times out of 10. May as well still have Miggy/ASM etc

Give him the games against City and PSG. We ain't winning those games anyway, so might as well use those to try and get him into some semblance of good form.

Yeah. I don’t like Barnes on the right. Even if his numbers are still quite good there and he puts in the odd good ball.

Especially if Trippier is going to keep playing. They look like a couple of strangers down that side

He was trying things and put in one good cross that Woltemade nearly got on the end of, but yeah. I feel like the bar has been lowered massively as to what constitutes a promising performance, at this stage I'm just happy to see him get the basics right and have a go.

Hate to say it cos I love the bloke, and he was the first one to buy into it all when he gave up Atletico Madrid for a relegation scrap here but he looks just about done as a PL player now.

That’s not nice. Plenty of shit out there today but I don’t think he improved on that one bit.

Was just kidding man.

I thought he looked brighter than the rest of the dross. The bar was very very low though.

Awful showing from the team, particularly in the forward areas. Just so clumsy and ineffective.

This. I thought Elanga was poor (was often 2 yards offside when he went far too early and otherwise the ball was on but we knew we couldn't play it and had to recycle) but was also fed poorly (asking for the ball and Trippier decides to take 2 more touches and then the space is gone).
