Neither, a twenty million pound transfer can't be hidden in accounts when you haven't made any other signings.!if you want to live in fantasy land go for it.

It's called clever accounting. Yes on the "books" it looks like a £20 million transfer (evening Mr Marsters) ........ but £32 million for Anderson. Howay man, screw your loaf.

Give over will you, the Premier League accountants (top level) will be going through the accounts with a fine tooth comb. I'm quite sure us and Forest are not sharing their account information before they're submitted. You're talking absolute shite and offered nothing apart from your fantasy thinkings. You keep your imagination going though, I've got better things to do

Forest are taking the piss wanting a sell on percentage.

You normally put them in contracts when the player isn't fully developed yet as in under 22.

These will already be getting a nice wedge off us with the 55 million.

Don’t worry about it… there’s zero evidence of that being the case.

He's their player and they were not looking to sell him.

They get to call all the shots. If you don't like it as the buyer, you find your way out.

I'm not having that. Bald means bald, and as the poster who coined tle Luke Baldwards moniker I know what I am talking about.

Zidane's Friar Tuck tonsure is offset by a crucial few tufts of hair on his forehead which takes him out of the slaphead equation.

People pretend like this doesn't matter, but I preferred Elanga for just this reason. It's not in hindsight either, I brought this up even when we were linked with him. It might be petty, but I just don't recall seeing that many succesful bald players.

Surely you realise most bald players are bald in the way Zidane was/is but just shave it all off?

The hilarity of being anti baldness in a footballer aside, he quite clearly shaves the rest off. Zidane just didnt shave his.

I am not from Newcastle. Can someone tell me if this forum generally a good representation of local Newcastle fans or people in this city? Seems to me lots of people here are quite mean and not inclusive at all. And frankly quite negative towards local journalists

We are in what is commonly referred to as a long marriage with each other here on the forum. Go to the chat section and you'll see the best of us (relative to football. We are still terrible.)

I'm a native Geordie, I know. I left the Toon ages ago though, like.

There’s no clever way around it - Vlachodimos’s transfer fee will be amortised every year he is with us.  Yes, Anderson was sold for huge profit that year and it was a PSR workaround - but that profit was on the books two seasons ago, and the problem is that we’re now stuck with an expensive, shite player on the books, given that the accountants will have to amortise his fee at a rate of £4m per season.  There was absolutely nothing clever about it - in fact, we came out of it by far the worst of the two clubs.  It was an act of desperation, born of negligence.
