Matt1892
If Barnes was going the other way then we would have paid about £70 million for Ramsey, with them giving us around the same for Barnes.
BGRM
Great signing, best of the window in my opinion (so far).

McAtee looks a better prospect and if liverpool are desperate id imagine we could have got 20m less for isak and got them to throw in curtis jones Ive just watched Curtis Jones get run off the park by Will Hughes on Sunday. No thanks. Classic average player who is given loftier reviews because he’s in a Liverpool kit

That will be the plan like, If the reason he isn't performing the way he was a couple years ago is his position, then £40m is outrageous value. Just checked, 34 of his 35 games last season were on the left. We should all be excited like.

Seems like Rogers has taken his spot so he played more as a LM/LW recently. A rotation of 22/23 Ramsey with Joelinton in the real backs to the wall games would be amazing like. STM
I think its worth remembering, not every signing is going to be a superstar that we can turn from a 40m pound player into an 80m one. It may well be that hes a good player who ends up leaving for 30m in 3 years, which would represent ok business. This post sounds negative but I mean it as a positive. STM
Weve not improved our starting 11 this window (because of the Isak saga) but id find it hard to argue that we haven't improved the squad, quite significantly too.

Kimbo
I don’t know why people want to flog Barnes for PSR, he’s probably the most reliable goalscorer we have right now.
