I read the quotes more that Longstaff is likely seeking an exit knowing his starting days are largely numbered here. I'm ok with him leaving and wish him the best but how many academy home grown do we have that we could put in to help the European quota? Gillespie and Miley count. But I suppose maybe adding Sean Neave/Ben Parkinson/Anthony Munda would get around it too? They first two have been in the first team squads and Munda has been tipped for a while to break through.

We can talk about Eddie progressing players and English talents which he does. The way he handled Hall is a great point and he was the best leftback in the league for me this season but we can't just focus on England as our best players at present are not English. Good n maybe in the top 4/5 along with hall but it's Isak, Bruno and Tonali for me the top 3.
