However, the absolute worst case scenario for the end is looking like a major trophy and a place in the EL next year. 5-0 due to goals scored, so that's extremely unlikely, but they would know that if they win Man Utd could maybe surprise a few folk on their final home match of the season with Villa, whereas if they lose they are guaranteed 7th. A draw would definitely be best from our perspective, but I'd still rather they lost than won today to at least guarantee a top 6 finish and Europa.

I don’t think Parish’s approach with us will change much, he will look to drag it out until deadline day in the hope a bidding war will begin and he can sell to a more palatable club. I’ll be disappointed if one year on we’ve decided to play the same game and haven’t identified someone else. Guehi is a good player and premier league proven but we should be able to find someone with more potential.

I wasn’t at anyone specific. Yep. I don’t think the Man U/Spurs model of crashing the league is ideal either which is why I think squad size will also be an issue. They can crash the league and FA Cup. But they still need a bigger squad. Momentum is good for Europe imo. Yo some degree anyway.
