Yorkie
Come on though, those saying no, in our current state, could we really say no to someone who was successful when he was here? I'd take fucking Speed at his age atm. The strikers aren't the problem. Neither are the defenders or the keeper. We've got a good enough midfield to get by n'all. At the end of the day we could sign Xavi and David Villa and we'd still struggle. What's sad is that this statement isn't a massive exaggeration. Bellamy would do very little to help our current situation in my opinion. Especially considering his fitness record.
NE5
ozzie would rather we re-signed stephen spence. mackems.gif
div-s-
yes but would rather have ashton
Guest BooBoo
yes but would rather have ashton He plays even less than Bellamy!
oldtype
I'd have Noble or even (gasp) Parker back before I had Bellamy back. He's just not the type of player we need right now. (dons tin hat)
Guest LucaAltieri
He's better than Shola... Owen and Viduka can't be relied upon too heavily as they're injury prone and more than likely fucking off in 6 months time. Bellamy would be a good signing on the cheap. OzzieMandias
Aye, another injury-prone non-scoring striker would be great company for Alan Smith on the treatment table.
Pilko
Never fit.
OzzieMandias
Perhaps a bit of chair-throwing and attacking team-mates with golf clubs would fit well with Kinnear's "Crazy Gang" style of manangement
Syrette
Yeah I would, depending on his fitness. Hopefully he'd have grown up a bit since he was left us.
joeyt
Would love Bellamy last year. Used to love it when we had him and Dyer. Pace
Wullie
If I thought he'd play more than 25 games, in a heartbeat - although he is 29 now and his pace won't last much longer.
Guest Edd
He isn't anywhere near the player he was when he was first here. 1 goal and 0 assists this season in the league and he's played more football than any of our forwards. That's a terrible record. If it was any other player then everyone would be going mad claiming we shouldn't be signing other teams cast offs.
midds
The only thing that would stop me paying £5m or him is his injury record. Couldn't give a shit about his baggage, he's top drawer when he's fit.
Dokko
West Ham are very short of cash and most players will be available in Jan. Bellamy for £5m? Well would you? Would rather bring back Dallas.
Dinho lad
no, let him stay at a small club.
Fatwax
More like would he take us back, chortle chortle. If he wasn't injury prone then maybe, and if we didn't already have loads of strikers. I'd rather we got midfielders, since we'll be ok for strikers til the summer. You know, before the exodus.
black_n_white
Id have bellers back, im biased though cos im Welsh!!!! haha Seriously though he does make things happen on the pitch and i thought he done well for us last time around. In all honestly the money could and should be spend elsewhere imo.

Thespence
Would not pay £5 million for him in todays market, if you could get him for £1 to £2 million. But some players would have to leave for him to come back & get in the side.

You've reminded me to call her and get that back, good work.
Disco
Nah, he's had his time and although a good player when fit at the moment, especially given our lack of money the last place I'd spend £5m would be a striker. If we only buy 1 player it has to be a central midfielder without a doubt.
Mick
A fit Bellamy would make a massive difference to us but he's not worth £5 million due to his injury record.
