Figures 1-0 Football
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/38128008 Absolutely glorious...
Yorkie
More fool him tbh. Ridiculous transfer. Paid massively over the odds for an average player with a terrible attitude, in a position they barely needed to strengthen, or perhaps rather, whose main attributes weren't really necessary for them to have. Marmoset
Have to wonder how much they actually scouted him if what he's got has come as a surprise.
NG32
Have to wonder how much they actually scouted him if what he's got has come as a surprise. The Euros. 10 out of 10.
joeyt
Have to wonder how much they actually scouted him if what he's got has come as a surprise. The Euros. 10 out of 10. And probably his last game for us against Spurs

Paid massively over the odds for an average player with a terrible attitude, in a position they barely needed to strengthen, or perhaps rather, whose main attributes weren't really necessary for them to have. On a Spurs forum there were a few posts about how this was a Levy signing and not a Pochettino one. No idea what that's based on, but if true it might explain the lack of conviction in Moussa's abilities as this is still relatively early for a manager to be writing his own signing off. From the outside it does smack of a manager not happy with a player signed by the Board (and it may not have been against his wishes, i.e. Pochettino might have just trusted Levy and the scouts had done their homework and so didn't mind money being spent on a last minute backup target since it's better than nothing). Doesn't Levy or the board usually make the decisions at Spurs? Or did they scrap that model? I know a lot of Spurs fans and to a man, they almost all seem to dislike Levy and his transfer dealings. sbnufc
Sissoko in January 2017: "I have always admired Barcelona. I want to play in the Champions League"
The College Dropout
Hilarious how the Spurs fans have pulled his card already. His only hope is playing properly in midfield. This RW / RF crap needs to end. He needs to be doing donkey work
Lush Vlad
Yeah. His inability to head the ball, his shit ball control and lack of physicality for a man of his size, will really help Spurs in the middle of the park
KaKa
Remember watching the video below in "still not worthy of a thread". Moussa wishes he had half the technique Pochettino still has even now. He's been sussed double quick time.
huss9
its rare a manager would come straight out and slag a player off to the press. think poch must have had a few words with him over recent weeks but the shitehawk hasnt responded with any effort. on loan to palace in january hopefully. TRon
great quotes off Poch today................basically, he's shit He seems to be more pissed off with his attitude than anything else. Sounds like Moussa has been letting his mouth go again and Poch isn't impressed.
triggs
Obviously thick to say it and contradict the manager but I'd prefer if Pochettino was coming out with the comments Sissoko is making rather than making excuses of not having a big enough squad. Not defending Sissoko by the way. I just think it's poor form to be making excuses like that when you are getting beat by teams with smaller wage budgets
AyeDubbleYoo
I guess he was asked why sissoko wasn't playing and he wanted to express 'I don't pick people just because they were expensive'.
Interpolic
Pochettino is probably pissed off with this from him the other day: Mauricio Pochettino had already said in the press conference that the struggle of maintaining a challenge in both the Premier and Champions League was too much for the resources at his disposal. Sissoko, though, stopped long enough to dissent from that view. “I cannot agree,” he said. “Personally I think we have a good squad and a strong team to do even better in the Champions League. That is why we are all so disappointed. “We have a good enough squad to have finished in the top two, but our performances were not good. We are so disappointed because we are out of the competition already. “Everybody is entitled to say what they think but for me our squad is more than good enough to have done better. “But like I said, we didn’t do better and now we must take the criticism, even if we think it is wrong.”
Dinho lad
Sissoko is the one correct but I guess that's not the point. But still... worthy of a .
tmonkey
I choose to read that as Sissoko thinking "I'm a superstar, and because this squad has me in it we should definitely be able to compete for both the CL and the Premiership. It is my destiny to win both. I was the best player in Euro 2016, my time has come".
Interpolic
It's more that the dopey cunt's publically disagreeing with the manager a couple of months after signing, having not put in one good performance.

Stray Mackem
I said at the time it was a cracking piece of business by Ashley. It appears Spurs may agree.
Guest
He'll be fine for one more big money move from a mid-table club, or a club like Inter.
