Ashley17
Game seems loads better in highlights form. I didn't think it was that bad a game, really. Lacked a fair bit of quality but I wouldn't have said it was dull
54
Still can't believe Remy missed that earlier chance.
Ameritoon
Never seen Colo that outraged after the handball late on. Guessing Atkinson's view was blocked because that was pretty clear.

Wilson
Didn't think it was boring, just depressing and frustrating all rolled in to a nice ball of shitness.
Hanshithispantz
I thought it was very poor outside of the 5-10 minute back 'n forth spell at the end.
Pilko
It was an absolutely garbage game apart from the final five or ten minutes, aye. The preceding 80 were comprised of two negative managers trying to out-stifle each other.
Wil
As some others have said, I too found myself not celebrating a last minute winner today. The very first time that has ever happened. And it's been a lot of years. It's a very strange, numb-like feeling, that one feels these days.
Super Duper Branko Strupar
I thought it was very poor outside of the 5-10 minute back 'n forth spell at the end. First 15 was decent. A little enjoyable at least. From then until 10 minutes from the end was ear munchingly frustrating, though.
maybe_next_year
As some others have said, I too found myself not celebrating a last minute winner today. The very first time that has ever happened. And it's been a lot of years. It's a very strange, numb-like feeling, that one feels these days. I celebrated just like usual for a last minute winner, but like shagging a girl you know your going to break up with, I was going through the motions, without any of the conviction behind it. nufcjb
Couldn't remember the last time I actually slept during a game and woke up after the match had ended. Ooops. I do remember. 2 weeks ago against Spurs.
merlin
Two poor sides - they should have scored in the period they were on top after the first 15 mins. We just about deserved the points on second half effort but it wouldn't have been an injustice if we had dropped 2 points. Remy missed a sitter laid on by de Jong after he dispossessed Vlaar but was always our most dangerous player. We would be fighting relegation if Remy had not been taken on loan and we will struggle badly next season when he has gone. Likewise with Colo who always looks a class defender and who also will almost certainly be gone in summer. 50,000 there - no wonder Ashley rubs his hands and laughs at them...Stockholm syndrome writ large. This summer will be VERY interesting...!
Chicane
I celebrated like a madman when that goal went in, knocked my drink flying all over the place and everything Of course it doesn't change anything or right any of the wrongs at the club but if you can't celebrate a good thing after all the shit results and everything else we've had then what's the point? I think some people just revel in the misery and negativity.
Rocker
I went a bit batshit when we scored like. I guess it's hardwired into me. Will never stop caring about winning/losing games.

Ronaldo
I've never celebrated my side scoring a winning goal less, like. 38 points, 40 points, does it really matter?
Ikon
I've never celebrated my side scoring a winning goal less, like. 38 points, 40 points, does it really matter? Same here! It's sad..
AyeDubbleYoo
Whether it's sad or not depends on the reason really. If it's just because we're mid table and safe, it's not sad at all, it's perfectly normal. If it's because of the lack of ambition of the club, and not based on league position, then fair play. BrettNUFC
I've never celebrated my side scoring a winning goal less, like. 38 points, 40 points, does it really matter? If someone said in the summer that you'd score a last minute winner at home to Villa to move you up to 8th place and 5 points behind Everton/Man Utd, you'd have been snapping that up. Think events throughout the past few month have took a shine off what has been to date a good league campaign. It would take something special to jump from near relegation to a top 6 place within a season. There was an outside chance of it if we kept Cabaye and spent money but Ashley put an end to that. Man Utd look back to full strength now and you would fancy them to kick on for rest of season to seal top 6. Would leave the race to us, Everton and Southampton to win the place for 7th even if there isn't much dif between that and 10th.
Hanshithispantz
I celebrated like despite feeling a bit meh afterwords. It probably had something to do with how well he took the goal though, brilliant control.

Not sure if you genuinely just don't get it, or if you're on the wind up, Brett. "It would take something special to jump from near relegation to a top 6 place within a season" I mean what? Wullie
Not much difference between 7th and 10th? Nowt apart from possible European qualification that the club and manager have made it clear they want to avoid at all costs.
