Aarons has done nothing to warrant a starting spot man Eh, he's been pretty quality whenever started in his actual position. Injury has kept him out, not ability. Crouch isn't very good but I bet worse players have done fine in that league. The dressing room has needed a complete personality shift for years - more experience, too - and if Rafa feels that a veteran like Crouch is going to benefit the squad them I'm not gonna doubt it. His height and hold up play would obviously come in handy. I'm sure he could do a job in the Championship. We don't want to sign too many players on long term contracts who may not be up to the Premiership if we get promoted. Also, we need a squad not just 11 players. He may bring Abbey Clancy with him.
