I think he's a much more complete player than Sissoko like. Sissoko just carries the ball up field disgustingly well.

Don't think he has the out and out pace or turn of pace that Moussa has, but probably better on the ball. Would obviously prefer to have them both at their best but like what Diame's done so far.

He's a powerful runner so that's where the comparisons with Sissoko come from. He was excellent today, held the ball up, played it to feet, constantly offered for it, physical, running with the ball. Best individual performance from any of our players this season mebs?

He's got much nicer technique on the ball, IMO. Seems to have much control in tight spots. Not as explosive an athlete but I don't think we quite need that so much. Reckon he's got more of an eye for a pass too.

There was a spell during 13/14 season where he seemed to pull those back regularly...mainly for Cabaye. (see Man U away win)
