He's obviously a bit mentally fragile and needs to work on his confidence. Really, it's the mental side of the game he has to work on, but he's definitely a natural footballer & athlete. While yes he should have put Perez through, the fact he managed to run one end to the other with and lay it off to Ritchie took a lot of pressure off us. Guest Howaythetoon Posted January 1, 2018 Share Posted January 1, 2018 Again it’s not easy for players like him to just turn it on, they need a prolonged run in the team. Same with Atsu. Wide men are always going to be inconsistent. Some of his decision making today highlited what kind of player he is, extremely raw and lacking confidence. Other aspects showed his other side witch is potential. That run and assist... that’s what we need. I really like the kid and he’s progressing nicely in a very poor side.
