I had a browse of some of the Everton message boards and they were all of the opinion Lampard had made a positive difference to the team and the main issue is lack of personnel. Top top quality midfielder of his time, ex Liverpool captain, won lots etc and got a good eye for a player. His name is attractive enough to get good players. Just got no idea how to manage. Souness actually built and managed some good teams in terms of quality of player, he was just useless and had one setting - angry. Gerrard seems the same.
