Can't say I like it, basically going nuts with a financial takeover on football manager. No champions league, and quite possibly no Europe at all. Just don't see this working out for them. With the length of contracts these players are signing, surely if they flop and need to be moved on won't their transfer value be stupidly high when they have 6 years left on their contract so nobody buys? Would be anti competitive behavior (maybe illegal), but the other clubs competing for those CL spots could just refuse to do any deals with Chelsea at all. It’s setting up these young players up for life too and they’ve only just started their careers.
