Smal
He owes everything to ASM. Genuinely. We only win when ASM is in the team. Dubravka tbh. Most saves in the league.
Disco
Local self flagellators in the press going into absolute over drive. Good job they’re not all allowed at the game, innocent folk would be drowning in cum in the press room.
midds
Have his results been alright this season? Yes Have his performances been alright this season? No Do I like him? No Would I still ship him? Absolutely This
David Edgar
He owes everything to ASM. Genuinely. We only win when ASM is in the team. Dubravka tbh. Most saves in the league. Definitely helped. But like we've won 1 game without ASM and something like 9 with him? I don't have the exact numbers to hand, but the difference between ASM playing and not playing is huge
samptime29
Good win today. Bournemouth awful but we took them apart really easily. Aim for 50 points. I'd be pleased with 8 points from next 6.

Tsunami
Hard to judge players as Bournemouth were dreadful. Absolutely no shape or closing down from them, Shelvey was allowed acres of space and their midfield was nowhere to be seen. The absence of fans massively affected their performance levels and these “training ground” type games suit Shelvey and I’d also say ASM down to the ground. Got to give credit to Bruce as well, I was expecting us to be dog shit and unmotivated coming out of lockdown. And no, if the takeover completes I don’t know want him to be given a chance. The Prophet
Lets be honest, he probably thought Saint-Maximin was a type of bog roll when he signed up.
TRon
He's going to be kept in the job, even in the event of a takeover, isn't he? I suspect he will be given some time, yes. A good end to the season with no pressure on will make it very hard to bin him off, so we might have to sacrifice next season just to keep the local fanboys onside. The big miss will be if it means losing out on Rafa or Poch because we don't want to be seen getting shot of a popular geordie manager.
NG32
Who are the "Bruce fan boys"...I literally dont know a single NUFC who wants him to stay long term.
joeyt
I’ve actually been won over by Bruce in this takeover period. He’s shown a lot of class and I do believe he’s being genuine when he says he wants what’s best for the club. He hasn’t made a terrible account of himself either this year. Am I naive enough to he’ll do a top job with a load of money? No. Do I think we should at least give him a fair crack of the whip? Absolutely. He’s earned it for me. samptime29
If the Saudi takeover goes through. They might offer a highly paid ambassador role for Bruce and get a new manager that way.

Not particularly talking about here - although there are a few to be sure even if they are a bit coy about it - but you'd be kidding yourself if you don't think there's a good swell of opinion that he should be given a chance under the new regime. t00nraider
I only really want him to stay because it winds the mackems up. We are doing quite well under Bruce and seem to be improving. We could pay top dollar for someone expensive and it not turn out well.
Wandy
It will be an absolutely horrendous waste of time and money if he is here next season under new owners. Having said that, as much as I love Rafa I also moving away from the idea of wanting him to come back too as it is simply never the same the second time around. We need a fresh start...no idea who that might be at the moment but this is where I am at now.

Tiresias
See him lashing out about disrespectful treatment most the season. You got stick cos the football was absolute garbage for the majority of the season. Absolute shit. I watched it, it was fucking awful. We've had a few good performances this included and hope it's like this as long as he's around from now on with some freedom to play on the pitch, but generally it's very rare a manager gets serious stick from fans and doesn't deserve it. If you're talking about literally whipping him with an actual whip then I'm on board. I'm still traumatised by the absolute dogshit 'football' we've been forced to watch for the vast majority of the season. Get the Saudis in, give him a grudging handshake and a pie and wish him on his chubby way.
