It's not worth over-analysing the idea that Bruce deserves a chance, given that anyone who says he does is either thick as fuck, a WUM, doesn't want Newcastle to succeed, or a mixture of all 3.

He’s done a good job though, for Ashley.

We are safe. Just keep getting beat so it means he can be hoofed out as soon as the takeover goes through. So for that, well done Steve, carry on the shite work.

Surrendered at home in the FA Cup after a so called amazing run - beating two League One clubs in replays and a Championship side.

Responsible for an injury crises we haven’t seen in years.

Can count on one hand how many times we’ve played well all season.

Gifted Villa and Norwich 4 points each, made Brighton look like Barcelona.

Lost by 5 goals twice in the same season - not even Pardew managed that.

Players have regressed, Fabian Schar looks like a Sunday league player.

5th worst defence in the league - weren’t we 7th best last season?

Manager of the year, though.

4 wins in 18 league games.

What do you expect? We're only a couple of points behind Southampton who is an excellent team (who by the way broke the record for biggest home loss this season)

-1 turd for managing to keep Newcastle in the PL. You lot shouldn't expect more from the team, be grateful for his cluelessness.

-1 turd for not being Pardew.

I give Bruce a 8/10 turds rating for the season.

Not beating last year's points total for sure now, hahahahahans

Brighton still got it to play for and then it's Liverpool. At this point I'd find it pretty funny if we got nowt from both.

It's mad how, still with several games left to play (including the Champs), such a defensive team - built on such a defensive framework with several very good defensive players, who have spent two thirds of the season only capable of playing defensive football - has conceded 50 goals and suffered at least four total batterings. I wonder how things would have gone had he not inherited such a well manufactured and extremely well drilled tactical set-up.

Up to 55 with Liverpool still left to play. Garbage.
