Was convinced he would score there. It was clear from day one he was a different class and something we had lacked for an absolute age. That he is close to 20 goals is insane. Mainly that it's been so long having a player that could do that and a team that can help him. Having at least one if not two 20+ goal scorers in the squad is going to be a necessity. Isak is excellent out there but the goals dried up, while Wilson banged them in for fun. Will be harsh on Wilson but I hope Isak moves back through the middle at the start of the season with a new world-class left sided player. It really doesn’t work starting them both, namely because one of them can’t come off the bench. We need to build them team around Isak centrally. It amazing that only Shearer has got over 50? Would be great to see him do it this year as have a feeling it will be his last year here. Next on the list of our active players are Almiron with 20 and Joelinton with 16. Don't think Almiron will be here long enough to get past him, but hope Joelinton can at least keep up the numbers he had last season and get past him in 4-5 seasons.
