Steve Bruce (now unemployed)

Of course it's out of hand. It's about the take over, not Bruce.  When he was canned at Villa and Hull, nobody thought about it twice. My only thought was why the hell did they hire him in the first place.

Funny as fuck how rattled the entire nation is by little old Newcastle.

Steve Bruce ffs. He’s such a great manager and such a top bloke until you ask “would you have him at your club?”

Worst manager in PL history. Woe is me attitude. Good fucking riddance.

Football fans of all clubs are largely the same. There are of course events and incidents that can influence elements of a fan base or those outside of it, i.e. Chelsea fans are racist, scousers are victims, geordies are delusional and punch horses.

It's all nonsense. There are always smaller elements of a group or fanbase that unfortunately exaggerate the sensibility of those that comprise the majority. People aren't that different in their response and reaction to things going on around them. If you put one set of supporters in the situation of another group of supporters it wouldn't be much different after a period of time. I despise all this 'holier than thou' that is permeating amongst the fans of other clubs at the moment.

It's funny really. Newcastle, not a big club apparently, yet we're such a small club that the world and his wife has an opinion on us. They need to start looking inwards a bit more and fuck off while they do it.

Today's headlines are tomorrows memories, he'll be forgotten within a fortnight, the media just need topics to discuss. Ride it out and let the cunt fade into oblivion, it doesn't even matter. He's gone and will never be back, there will be something to replace the story with in the next few days and the population will forget about Steve Bruce completely soon enough.

This is worth a gander.....

It doesn't matter to me when it was, nor the fact that what he's saying has nothing to do with NUFC, I just cannot bring myself to listen to him speak.

Theres some serious sympathy for Bruce on facebook at the moment. Examples:

Theres no way these are genuine randoms from all over the country posting this crap. These accounts making posts have to bots, have to be. Hes being treated as some sort of national treasure who has been hard done by the worst fans on the planet. Or as some sort of war hero returning from some horrendous far flung theatre of war. The worship of him has come completely out of the blue. One post is even comparing to Guardiola.

This has to be some sort of organised campaign against the club due to the change of ownership.

Heres another one just popped up on my feed:

This man has shown more decency and compassion than the media and Newcastle fans combined

Treated awfully but was always gonna happen he's not a "marque" manager , and tbf the media have made it unbearable for him in role now so it's not a surprise

Steve Bruce has produced some world class talent like Maximin and the Longstaff brothers hopefully another club will give him a chance because he's a good manager.

Steve Bruce is a great human being. He's achieved things in his football career that others could only dream about.

I mean, its just fucking bizarre

I’ve been fairly ambivalent towards him. Aye he’s a shit manager, but never really had much of a problem with him other than that. All this woe is me shite though? Fuck off, man.

This is where I stand on him.

Never liked the bloke, but wished him well in the future and found the clamour for his immediate sacking over the last two weeks to be a little distasteful in honesty. He'd even have had a slightly undeserved honourable footnote as the man who bridged the gap between Rafa and the consortium, keeping the club up when literally nobody else would take the job.

But the last 48 hours has reminded me of what a petty, classless person he is at heart. Fuck him. Even the likes of Pardew had more dignity than this.

I can't stand him. He has basically tarnished an entire city as being deluded, demanding and abusive (a city he claims to love) while in the process saying we have hurt his family, thrown several of his players under the bus publically including a young goalkeeper playing in Ronaldo's homecoming, said he hopes some journalists get a slap, blamed his predecessor in public for his team playing poorly. Yet he is crying to the press about someone calling him a cabbage head.

Not to forget that time he went on Talksport, said that we all expect to be making world-record signings and encouraging every dickhead presenter on there to lay into us for the rest of the day.

Such a nice guy.

Never ever gets the respect he deserves

Look at it this way the man was good as a footballer and not that bad as a manager , He had to manage on what he could get ,many people forget there was more than one coach at Newcastle ,,,but he bacame the fall guy because many times when apposing teams scored the defenders had left there position ,many time the left back was in the penalty area same as the right back

Harold Shipman was a great doctor

And the people of Newcastle are supposed to be good down to earth people….not on this evidence! Pathetic bunch

Quote

I think after the way he's been treated by the Newcastle fans pretty much every other fan is united in wanting to see Newcastle relegated this season

Quote

Perhaps Newcastle progress over the next two years will pay testimony to a manager never given a chance

Amazing how thick your average fan is to believe a proven fat, lying failing cunt's utter exaggerated bullshit.

Every single fan who's said "eeeh they're horrid I hope they go down", I really hope they have to endure Bruce's shit football, repetitive snide patter and piss poor results when he inevitably goes back into management. Some of the stupid cunts might realise we as a fanbase actually know our onions and can spot an absolute fucking charlatan from 100 paces, I mean we've seen enough of them in the last 15 year. Fuck the lot of them.

Pardew was worse-- that is,a bigger cunt. But I can't really say who I hate more:  Souness, Allardyce, Kinnear, Pardew, or Bruce.

(Have no idea why I never really hated McClaren. God knows he deserved it)

That is the dumbest thing anyone has said in years. It is also insulting to his own club Arsenal, because he's overlooked their legend Herbert Chapman, widely credited as an all-time great tactical innovator. Read those Jonathan Wilson books for more info.

Even in recent times, to suggest those four managers are in the same league as Clough/Taylor and Paisley is complete nonsense.
