Jordan
Some actual centre midfielders in January and I think we’ll survive.

The only team worse than us are Norwich, but I’d still back them to beat us if we played tomorrow

AyeDubbleYoo
As it stands we’re almost definitely going down. Ask me again when we have a manager.
McCormick
We’re fairly fucked, like. Problem is, we’ll probably be cut adrift by the time the January window comes along which will seriously affect the quality of player we can bring in. Scoot
The performances stink of relegation. I'm at a 7 at the minute.
MrRaspberryJam
5. But this will drop considerably if and when we appoint a good manager. Keep us within touching distance by January and new signings should give us a push to see us safe.
Happinesstan
We are still in serious danger, and probably will be until January. Just got to hope we're not adrift by then. I think Jones has shown today, that a good manager can get something from the squad as it is presently, but we need some assured transfers in January. Decky
Has anyone ever survived after no wins in their first 9 (soon to be 10) games?
Wandy
We are going to need a manager with a huge personality and supreme confidence to get us out of this. If its the likes of Lampard then we are going down.

TheInfiniteOdyssey
7 Today was a valuable point, if you look at it in isolation. If we can get something away at Brighton and hopefully take maximum points at home to Brentford, Norwich and Burnley, we'll be in an okay position going into January. RUHRLYASLEEVESUP
We will be just fine, more or less same players from last 2 years who finished mid table, soon we will have an organiser, a motivator & a thinker managing us, signings in the window (poss solid premier league players) once all that clicks we will be absolutely fine. HaydnNUFC
4. Going up each game we don't win tbh. New manager will change that, a lot of the season left to go, but we look so meek.
Fantail Breeze
2. The biggest two causes of our potential relegation have been removed and there is plenty of football to be played. Depending how quickly the new manager can fix things, I’d expect us to finish mid-table at worst.
Collage
4. A proper manager and 3-5 new players will keep us up. Edited October 23, 2021 by Collage
Krabbe2
8. 18.??? 19.??? 20.Norwich Difficult. Burnley and Leeds will probably also start picking up points soon. Watford seem very unpredictable and I think Sothampton are doing well. Hard to see which 2 other teams newcastle will beat.

Not impossible obviously, but we’ve just been outclassed by a team that would be in and around us and are currently 4 points adrift. Leeds will start picking up more points soon; just have to hope Burnley and Southampton don’t pick up form. We realistically could be 6 points behind next week with a very difficult winter fixture list. I’d say we’re very much up against it.
The Prophet
4, relegation is an undoubted threat, but we have a new manager and reinforcements to come in January. There's still more than enough time to turn things around though.
et tu brute
All depends on the gap come January. If we can keep it to below 6 points, then we have a chance with new players (hopefully) coming in. More than that, I think it would be a struggle and probably also unlikely that the required quality of player required will commit to come.
SUPERTOON
Based on the quality of the others teams down there it’s by no means certain that there will be much of a gap between us and them.
