I have no idea whether he's any good, but the thing that caught my eye is that he regularly starts for them as either a CB or DM. For me, a class DM should be our main priority followed closely by a new CB. Assuming that Grillitsch isn't Claude Makelele, a bersatile player like that would be a really useful January purchase. As a second DM (replacing Hayden) and as a second/third CB. Assuming again that we are buying at least one other CB and DM. If they're the right company to bring in, have experience with other clubs, or specialise in sport/football, absolutely fair enough though. Don't understand what people see in Tarkowski that would imply he's an immediate improvement upon the defenders we already have. Lascelles was solid under Rafa, playing in a well drilled defensive system similar to what Tarkowski does under Dyche.
