Everyone's favourite weighing in.

Don’t know why everybody is up in arms about this conversation. Agree with pretty much everything that was said from either side, except for them rating Guehi as England’s best center back.

Because it’s not his real opinion. He just says whatever will cause the biggest response.

I thought the same. Just playing devil's advocate in a pretty reasonable way.

Still a prick though.

Why is it concerning that Mbeumo choose Man Utd? They obviously can pay more money. I’d say it’s more concerning for Man Utd that Mbeumo would move for the money but that’s their problem

The fact he's telling Newcastle fans to be concerned because Mbeumo chose Man Utd over Newcastle without even mentioning the fact he's been offered over 200k a week at Man utd (if reports are to be believed) and he'd ge on roughly half that here.

Why should we be concerned about that? He's gone for more money its as simple as that.

He's just completely ignored that major factor.

Rory said Haaland would fail in the prem

To be specific he said he'd be surprised if he scored 15 goals in a season. Which he then did in his first 10 games.

Any reason we should be paying attention to NUFCJordd?

No.

And I'm saying this having never heard of him or read anything he's ever posted.

It's a sad state of affairs (and speaks volumes about online culture) when that little plum has hundreds of thousands following him on YouTube, like.

Edit: on about that little failed Eastender geezer.

He knows exactly what he’s doing, and it works. Just read the last two pages of this thread back.

Just go back to all the expert opinions on Eddie when he signed and tell me the so called experts know what the fuck they are talking about and then explain why you should listen to people who know even less about football?

Oh aye, definitely. It's transparent as owt, but people obviously want it. :anguish:

I've seen enough of him on those Sky Sports clips to know to go nowhere near his content.

worst show on talksport. When they said the other night that they dont have any other information than that which is available to other fans then i wonder what their expert opinion is or why you would ring up to debate them when you can just ring your mate and do the same thing.

The shows should always have a highly experienced international who has played in the prem to give some kind of insight, i will go with my own eyes over Rory's and say there is a more chance those in the game and at the club have a better understanding of Elanga's potential and how he wil enhance the team

You're 100% wrong. A cūnt is as least useful.

Exactly. And tbf he’s a very eloquent speaker. Obviously when scrutinised, even slightly, it’s generally a load of old bollocks, but he delivers it in a clear, concise manner, which people often find easier to listen to than someone speaking sense, but in a less eloquent way.

The most interesting part of the RW signing being Elanga would be that it’s basically a long term commitment to the idea of not having an inverted winger on both sides. Elanga as first choice and Murphy as backup for the foreseeable future, with Gordon/Barnes being used there occasionally too.

Would explain us being so all in on Elanga, as the vast majority of RW options out there are left footed and would require a pivot away from something that was so incredibly effective last season with Murphy in the spot.

It’s not what I was expecting to be honest but at this point Eddie has earned total buy in if this is who he wants. Given how productive Murphy was in the position last year, I’d expect some pretty good numbers from Elanga next year if he is the one we end up with.

Elanga scored quite a few goals with his left last season. He can go outside or inside which makes him quite unpredictable to defenders.

On either side of the pitch and down the middle!
