  2. For anyone north of the 49th Parallel: https://www.adidas.ca/en/newcastle-united-fc-25-26-home-jersey $65 cheaper than ordering from the club.
  3. Delap would have been canny but he's not one to get upset over. If anything, Chelsea settling for him over Gyokeres/Ekitike/Osimhen could be good news for us.
  4. Can't believe they're going to keep Amorim like. Absolutely epitomises the sunken cost fallacy.
  5. "I find it very difficult, if not impossible, for him to sign for Barça for sentimental reasons." ▪ "Newcastle is the best positioned right now." Joan García is moving away from Barça and closer to the Premier League. 🎙 Information from
  6. Not sure why we are not looking at Gyokeres. Honestly, I am clueless about players other than those playing for Liverpool. We are linked to Ekitike, though. That link might have some truth to it. Edwards and the data nerds are running the show now. Staveley recruited some background Liverpool data nerds and performance analysts to your club. So, the fact that you were strongly linked to Ekitike in the past means that there is a good chance our data team is looking at the same information. I know we were looking at Bottman and Guimares, but you moved faster. In general, I know that when elite talent becomes available, Edwards and his team drop everything, focus on that player, go all in, and then figure out what the team needs with the remaining money. We did that with Van Dijk. We are currently doing that with Wirtz. We need a striker more than an attacking midfielder who operates in the left and center channels, but when Wirtz became available, they went all in. That is the message in the press. I guess we will get Kerkez, Frimpong, and Wirtz over the line, look at sales, and decide what to do about the striker position.
  7. If he’s not going to Barcelona why would he choose Villa over us?
  8. I went over last night. I enjoyed it but failed dismally. It works through an app and you only have 10 seconds to answer with points on correct answer and speed. £5 entry per team and 26 teams last night. 3 20 question rounds and £330 split between the 3 rounds. Had a great night but I've got an old head and I'm not fast enough against the other teams. Finished 14th, 18th and 16th but had a great night.
  9. Fan was embroided, player was a transfer The player badges often ended up green after a couple of uses
  10. This is gold. Starring Todd Boehly as Jeffrey Epstein and John Terry as Prince Andrew.
  11. My money is on him going to Villa to replace Martinez
  12. Chelsea really are the Epstein Island of football clubs aren’t they? Ooh they’re young, snare them up and ruin them
  13. FWIW the adidas long sleeve tops have been like that for a few years now. Not a deal breaker for me, but it not being the pro version is.
  14. what was the difference with the badge on that one?
  15. Eddie typically likes young players he can improve and develop,so would trust him completely with transfers for now and the future. Before Ashworth came his signings were good and kept us up Mitchell from the eord ho was a No for me. Came in and had a go and Eddie's body language whenever his name was mentioned said it all.
  16. Was Parish dealing with Mitchell though? Maybe Eddie can have a word and fluff Parish a little / throw Mitchell under the bus. Sign Guehi for a tenner and a handy.
  17. Best unlock we made was when the ref then blew for halftime.
  18. If we're looking at players from PSR hit clubs, those clubs could be trying to offload fringe players or make academy swaps before they sell a player they want to keep. There's still a full month for them to try and make that happen.
  19. Genuinely hope he goes there over a will he, won’t he summer again. Parish despises us and Guehi has clearly not made any major moves to try and push to come to us
  20. It's really difficult to quantify unless you were lucky enough to live through the Keegan years. We were absolutely in the doldrums and heading into oblivion. The Ashley years were truly awful but there was something, even just the tiniest scrap of a football club to work with after he left. Keegan had next to nothing. KK will always be my number 1 and yes, I accept that is a very emotional thing because of what those years were like. (this is in no way belittling Eddie who I completely love too. But even if just by the tiniest fraction, KK is just ahead of him)
  21. He's very good, IMO. Great potential.
  22. Follow on from this, I've just check this season's shirt and that has the same seam where the Noon patch is (S/S). So it's only one additional seam I suppose...
