Just realised, that point at Brighton looking massive right now. Would be needing 4 from last two games to guarantee it if we'd lost at Brighton.
-
Agreed, but Osimhen will be far too expensive IMO. I think he's asking for obscene wages, and we won't do that anymore.
-
Five finals in five seasons. One match away from a European trophy and CL football. "Done."
-
I'm also pretty jealous as we really need a good quality young centre forward to understudy for Isak.
-
This is gonna be a fiesty game isnt it. Hopefully they spit their dummies out and crumble under an onslaught of Juice.
-
Absolutely, but, if he could wangle a decent release clause, then the money would come as long as he backs himself to succeed. If he signs to Man Utd on big money, he's stuck there for a long time, potentially not playing or achieving much. I also don't think it's a great move from Chelsea and Man Utd. They've both got young centre forwards that need to develop. They need a main man. Maybe it's unrealistic, but if Man Utd get Champions League, I think I'm right in saying Osimhen is a Man Utd supporter. Surely that's the sort of move they need to be making.

If Rice is out and Merino/Jorginho are also unavailable what's their midfield 3 likely to be? Lewis-Skelly or Zinchenko with Partey and Odegaard?

General NUFC stuff: club crest to be changed (Official)

I agree completely. Chelsea I can half understand, but Man Utd, definitely not, they're done.
-
Correct. Hence all the controversy over Suarez’s comment a few years back. Different cultures clashing.
-
Wasn't there some incident with their fans after the 1-0 (Willock) 2 years ago out side the Black Bull? If memory serves, they were starting on normal fans minding their own business and got a hiding outside once a few realized what was going on. Another club with far too many knuckle dragger fans still stuck in the dark ages of the mid 80s. Another reason to loathe this shitbag club.
-
Perhaps, but ManU/Chelsea will offer him a lot more money than a mid-table side.
-
What Howe has done for this lads game and for Murphy to rise to the level he has, is just one of many feel good stories this team writes for itself. I was watching the "Midfield Maestro" video the club did with Sandro and the way he talks about Murphy specifically is really special.
-
Could Billy Gilmour be an option either on loan or for a fee? Not been a regular starter for Napoli this season but I'd take him as our first back-up midfielder.
-
No harm in asking right? He'll say no but at least we tried. To have any chance we'd have to lie by telling him we're looking to play 2 upfront next season.
-
Probably, but if he's still developing as a player, and those two clubs will want/need for him to be the finished product right away because they're floundering. A smarter move would be decent mid-table club, and use the advantage of his low price from the release clause to get another achievable release clause at his next club. If possible of course.
-
He'd start for both clubs, I'd imagine

He's comparing his good work standing up for and bringing attention to fewmin rights to a man who rescued Jewish child refugees fleeing Nazi Germany in the 1930s. Perfectly standard rational RTG poster
-
Yeah, even worse. I remember someone from Brazil commenting at the time on insta or somewhere how much that would have irked him
-
If no one returns from injury then we might not have much choice. The balance looked great first half against Chelsea. But against Arsenal's midfield 3, Tonali and Bruno might get overrun.
-
Oh aye, I've watched you a fair bit and he's a beast. I find him likeable as well.
-
In fairness, he was playing LB than, and while he did a stand-up job for the most part, he was clearly very limited in that role. He has the perfect attributes for that CB role (bar pace) though, and its his stronger position, so its not a surprise he's been imperious since going into that role.
-
He's exactly what tuchel wants. He is desperate for a 4-4-fucking 2

Putting the RW before the 3 CMs has me irrationally annoyed
