How can the be in better form when we have closed quite a gap?
-
Am I alone in wanting them to get promoted? Would be nice to see them back in the PL after ten years. Plus I have always had a soft spot for Derby and it would be nice to end their shame
-
In this stadium, the noise decides whether you're a baldy nonce or not. The answer is yes.
-
Ah so thats why the ref gave every 50/50 Chelsea's way, got it
-
We are third top for a reason. Brighton aren't. Simples.

We were fantastic in the first half today i thought. But I guess we havent been that great away. Thought Arsenal looked vulnerable as fuck today tbh. -
It's really noticeable when he's playing because the incisive pass is into midfield rather than by the midfield.
-
feels like ages ago but Isak was poor for the first 10 or so games of the season as well imo. Some of our performances back then were honking and he was a pretty big part of that, especially first 6 games where he only managed 1 goal.
-
Yeah Eddies going to have a hell of a decision to make next season.
-
No doubt they'd give both Arsenal and Everton "a game" (aye a lewsing one lol) after we put them to bed
-
Loved the close up of him before Bruno’s goal, yelling “Just give me the fucking ball!” 😂
-
"There’s 6 teams from England next season in it, considering you can say for certainty which 12 teams in the PL definitely won’t qualify, it’s more difficult not to qualify." There's 6-7 teams qualify for Europe via the league every season....why haven't they done that once in their entire history if its that easy.
-
One of the biggest testaments you can give to his season and the level he's got himself up to is that in this Champions League end of season decider, he's not only put in a man of the match performance, but it isn't really much of a surprise.
-
yeah, think only Hall was on a par with him until the injury. Burn probably still edges it because... well...
-
Some proper comfort blanket posts there These are just from the first couple of pages...wait until it gets to 20 pages ! "Hopefully get humiliated & struggle in in the premier league like last time they were in CL" "Couldnt give a shit me they stopped being our rivals a couple of years ago" "Blows my mind that people are bothered tbh. I stopped giving a shit about them when I was about 15." "Maybe the EU will sanction them due to human rights stuff" "The mags as we knew them are dead." "Theyre absolutely nothing to us man" "Let them have fun in Europe. It will still not be enough for them or the Arabs, and it will end in tears eventually."
-
Think it's between Burn, Tonali and Murphy for player of the season. Harsh on Isak but he's been poor for months now.

They're 5 games without a win in all comps, we've lost 1 in the last 5. They're not in better form than us by any metric. I imagine since about November we've probably had more points than them also. -

It's more that we seem to be lacking good form lately than them being in good form tbh, though I thought they were decent against Liverpool today considering they were down to 10 men -
Beat them three times this season, but I feel they’re too good to write off. They’ll see us a scalp. To finish second this year when they’ve had their best opportunity to win the league, will be disappointing, to finish below that will be really poor, so I think they’ll be at it.
-
Other players have had peaks and troughs, the odd bad performance despite being brilliant overall, no one has been as consistent as Dan Burn, he's been absolutely fantastic this season.
-
The commentator said he had Shearer's name on the back also
