Interesting if true. Not a horrendous deal, but not sure in the logic of selling our best player and replacing him with someone who is still quite raw and isn't a like for like replacement.

 

Then again realistically we have f*** all to play for so it doesn't really matter that much.

 

We have nothing to play for, that makes watching our better players even more important.

As long as the replacement is in before he leaves i won't get too p*ssed off.

 

The last thing we need is another great player leaving us mid season with nothing but a burning hole of cash to show for it.

 

What if his replacement isn't as good as he is?

 

 

as long as part of a team good enough to keep us up.....

While he isn't a like for like replacement it doesn't really change that much as Cabaye has been playing off the striker all season.

 

Makes sense to buy an actual attacking midfielder to replace him tbf.
