Been wanting to see a goal or an assist from him for a few weeks, no one in the team deserves it more. If he can contribute to 8-10 goals a season I really feel that he can become an elite midfielder.

Just can't picture this guy as a Striker [emoji38]

Love how he just gets on with it, no drama just using his strength and every now and then a bit of Brazilian trekkers.

May the force be with him.

He was awful with the ball today [emoji38] so happy he got the goal and such a great celebration.

Ironically this wasn't one of his better games in possession but he still put himself about a bit and won a few tackles. Even on a bad day he's probably a pain to play against.

Speaks volumes for him that he’s been able to keep going and bounce back. And for Howe that he worked with him and didn’t just bin him off PFM-style.

Story goes they were preparing to loan him out till Clarke got sent off and Joe comes back into centre mid and becomes a monster.

where is the evidence he is any good. cant win a header, cant hold up the ball, cant pass, cant score with the easiest of headers.

i know he's playing amongst shit and has no service but why do people keep saying he's obviously got something about him?

Someone is going to have to make a movie of this guy's redemption. My goodness.

So thrilled for the guy. The flack this guy took at certain points man ... and he never complained, never tried to leave the club, never hid, just kept quiet and kept working. Guy has immense character and inner strength.

Think with the support he's now getting from the crowd, he's only going to keep getting better and adding more to his game in the final third, because it's all spurring him on even more it looks like. He's a top man.
