I would think that him and his agent are smart enough to not rule anyone out as that will help them getting a higher wage.  No matter what he wants, they would be smart to stay quiet for now.

In a perfect ideal world Ekitike chooses us and the club releases a teaser photo with two pair of hands on two different contracts. No heads showing. Slightly darker skin both of them. Yeah you see where I’m going…

II f we are still in for him (which by all accounts we are), then I would be pretty sure we know exactly his opinion of possibly joining us. Too many on here take stories from bullshit accounts via social media as serious information

Please don't allow yourself to get sucked into some bullshit armchair psychology about what he "prefers" or the type of person he is. We have absolutely no idea about any of that and neither do any of the other people reporting the story. He will make his feelings clear soon enough. 

 

If he wants to join us - especially over Liverpool - then he has a chance to be an icon. If he doesn't, then I don't want him and I expect we'll find a strong alternative.

 

Just don't obsess over the whims/desires/mental makeup of a person you know nothing about.

This will show everything that's wrong with psr if the richest owners in the world get gazumped by an American group.

We should be able to offer the wages that liverpool can and not have to pull out of transfers soon as there's competition.

I would love it if he says no to the scousers.

Tbf I think PSR stopping us from going ballistic is fair enough, it's just a joke a handful of clubs are allowed to do what they want as the rules were designed specifically to let them. The market value of top players is completely fucked because of it.

Don’t trust agents. In fact this is my only doubt about signing this lad. Not only do we seem to of signed sensible players but they seem to be represented fairly well.

 

Once the word “super” agent is mentioned it should set alarm bells ringing.

 

Though… to contradict myself is this the same agent used for the Kelly sale?

They want Isak. Imo Ekitike is the nearest thing there is to him. They'll want him but only if the can't get Isak.

Would bet the player is happy to join, and we're probably close to terms with Frankfurt. 

 

Everyone is probably waiting to see if liverpools interest is serious or just talk. Doesn't hurt Frankfurt or Ekitike to see what liverpool have to offer.

 

Hopefully they get called on their bluff and we can wrap this up

The hope we've got to have is that Liverpool aren't dumb enough to go over the release clause (Which we've already met if reports are true) AND that Ekitike wants to join us over them. 

 

If those two things go our way, we'll get him.
