There are times in football when there are a team or some teams, a player or some players who are truly outstanding, players or teams that stand out through the ages. At other times there are hgood players and teams but none that make you go "wow".

With the passing of Messi, Ronaldo and that great Barcelona team, I think we are now in one of those times of good rather than great.

Yamal has potential. He's doing more impressive things already than Messi or Ronaldo did at a similar age.

Both of those developed to phenomenal levels in their 20's however, so remains to be seen if he has that growth.

Also the game is different now and less physical than when Messi and Ronaldo were teenagers so players seem to be getting minutes at much younger ages (Dowman and Nwaneri debuting at 15 for Arsenal).

Jude and Jobe parents being arseholes, could never have imagined that.

There didn't seem to be any issues when Jude was at Dortmund. We've all seen the arseholification in the last couple of years.

I've never seen a club openly admitting to and seemingly being delighted with the fact that they're a mid-table club happy to exist with the sole purpose of staying in the league and propping up those above them.
