What a load of shit, man.

If they are so confident he'll choose them, why not put their bid in and force him to make the decision.

After all, they can bid and just need to make the necessary sales by the close of the window, right?

Romano reckons he’s still undecided and Man Utd have told Leipzig again that they’ll bid if he chooses them.

same crack on repeat from him.

Not going to matter too much if we have said will walk away quickly as Man U don't have the money yet.

Which striker apart from Ronaldo Nazario has had a great goal record at 22? Drogba wasn't proven before going to Chelsea at 26, van Nistlerooy wasn't proven before going to Man United at 25. Henry was considered surplus to requirements at Juventus.

Even Batistuta's goal record wasn't great until he was 25/26 - he only scored 16 in Serie B.

Haaland had scored 62 in 67 for Dortmund before turning 22

This is what I was saying a few minutes ago. Leipzig have accepted our bid, Man U can't match it IMO, but if they have told Sesko that they want him, he could just wait it out. I think that's why we gave him 48hrs to accept which will expire today.

Think it's still 50/50 personally. At least after today we should be in a clear space to move on if he's fucking us about.

Anyone else think that Newcastle fans have given Romano so much shit that hes now spat the dummy.

I also think hes getting absolutely zero from the Newcastle end.

Its as if he's doing it on purpose to take any enjoyment out of us bidding for him.

Will this be the only “Here we go” tweet in existence that Romano says “Šeško KINDA wanted #NUFC”

"Man Utd were unable to take sufficient cost cutting measures to strengthen their transfer fund, therefore, regretfully, Man Utd have informed RB Leipzig that they will no longer persue Benjamin Sesko. The player has been informed and is understandably devastated, sources close to Sesko confirm that he will need at least 1 week to mourn Man Utds failed bid before he is ready to consider his options. Newcastle apparently made him an offer, he could go there if he really wants to, it could prove him a stepping stone to Man Utd in the future, but for now staying at RB leipzig may be his best option as SESKO ONLY WANTS MAN UTD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"Here we go! Benjamin Sesko to Newcastle, player travelling for medical tests.

Sesko is still undecided on his next club, Manchester United are still at the table."

If we replace Isak-Wilson with Sesko and Wissa that is big improvement.

People get fixated on the upgrade to Wilson being overall the big improvement, when anyone replacing Isak is a monumental MASSIVE downgrade.

Guy does so much that your normal striker does not do. We will be worse off regardless if Isak goes this summer, especially the optics and everything associated.

We have the money to sign him now. We would just need sales to satisfy PSR next June if we drop another £70m on a striker.
