La Parka
Can't say I'm missing Krul. Hopefully it will be a kick up the arse for him, hes stagnated big time and Elliot's rise may be the stimulus he needs to push on.
STM
I think Elliot is underrated and Krul is overrated. Perhaps neither are good enough.
Kanji
Rather sign Butland
dinotheprehistoricgeordie
Rather sign Butland I would have assumed that Liverpool would move for Butland had they not given Mignolet a new contract.
Kanji
Same. I was shocked he was signed for little by stoke years ago. He's come on very well recently and I'm a huge fan of his. I'd love to sign him but ain't a chance in hell.
sempuki
One of our best players probably.
Dave
One of our best players probably. Our only player worth mentioning.
Jesse Pinkman
Was world class last night!
ujpest doza
Didn't deserve to be on the losing side, let down massively by the utter shite in front of him.
Pilko
He's improved a lot. Turned a 6 or 7 nil thumping into something a lot less morale damaging.
George Bailey
Be rather ironic if he ends up leaving us to stay in the premier league...Mr Fishy lips may well come a sniffing! Fair play to the lad he has performed way above my expectations for him.
Disco
Made one truly world class save last night, fair play to him. He's still a fat mess but he's far exceeded my expectations.
TRC
You know things are bad when Rob Elliot is a potential player of the season.
Guest
He made saves most PL keepers would be expected to make and was poor for the first goal imo.
Minhosa
You know things are bad when Rob Elliot is a potential player of the season. Sad but true.
andyman
He made saves most PL keepers would be expected to make and was poor for the first goal imo. Well… most of our players don't deliver what you expect players in the Premier League to deliver, so I'd pat him on the back and give him a bag of crisps. Geordie Ahmed
He made saves most PL keepers would be expected to make and was poor for the first goal imo. Need to see it again BUT that save from Barkley was class
SEMTEX
He's been fine. He's an ok PL backup. He's still slow as shit though, and thus doesn't make certain saves he should, and also makes other saves look rather hollywood. Not sure if the slowness is physical or just about his reaction speed, though given his appearance, I'd guess the former.
La Parka
Consistently solid. Better than Krul was pre injury. Player of the season? Only winni is close and he doesn't turn up half the time.
Greg
He made saves most PL keepers would be expected to make and was poor for the first goal imo. I agree.

sbnufc
Odds on this mess starting for Ireland at the Euros? Who are their other keepers? Surely he's the best of them anyway
triggs
Don't think he'll start, Randolph played really well against Germany and the play offs
jdckelly
he should start, regular premier league football and impressing in it while Randolph yes he was good but he's barely played a game since
Wullie
“Crisis? We are in the bottom three. That is as serious as it gets. “I would not say it is a crisis. When we played West Ham last year, we had to win to stay up, I’d say that was a crisis. “I don’t think crisis is the word, but believe me everyone is well aware of the situation we are in. We are not taking it lightly. I can assure the fans that. “No one is sitting here complacently saying we’ll be fine. Don’t ever say people don’t care because we do. “The table doesn’t lie after so long, but we know we are better than that. It is a case of getting out and doing it. “We have to turn it into a performance against Stoke and make sure these last 12 games we become the team everyone knows we can be, rather than every week saying we have potential but we’re not quite there. Potential has to turn in to performance. “I think the manager is a positive person. That he how he is and how he works. I think he has to be who he is and he doesn’t play any games. “I like honesty about what is going on, then people can’t hold things against you. “We know at home we are fantastic, away we are not. There is no in between. We know we can be good, we have done it on occasions, but we have to do it more often. We know how good we can be – that is a positive.” http://i.imgur.com/naNwUlD.png
