Varadi
On a more serious note, which was good to see today was the understanding between Cissé and HBA, and to a larger extent with Ba. Those three up front could potentially be one of the best attack in the League Most definitely - very promising signs already, a pure finisher like Cisse really needs a provider like Hatem. NEEJ
'Forget technique, he runs a lot' Silly c***. It's embarassing he's presenting a football programme on the BBC. He knows next to nothing about the game.
Sammys_Tekkers
Was sensational today. Hopefully he can pull a few more performances like that out the bag again before the end of the season.

madras
imagine in a free roaming 3 instead of being on the right wing ?
Interpolic
imagine in a free roaming 3 instead of being on the right wing ? Wasn't that far off that today at times IMO. As long as those 3 are furthest forward and we're playing it on the deck we're on to a winner.
JH
After his performances the past couple of weeks, he deserves his place in the starting lineup from now til the end of the season. Finally starting to prove himself and I'm delighted. He looks better every week

Fluid as fuck although obvs not as good.
Ronaldo
Cisse and Ben Arfa's goals-to-minutes stats must look fucking ridiculous, man.

Mole_Toonfan
Cisse and Ben Arfa's goals-to-minutes stats must look f***ing ridiculous, man. Did a bit of working out using ESPN soccernet's stats on Cisse and it says he scores a goal every 69.6 minutes.

Dave
Btw some of the bursts of speed he showed today were fantastic, particularly for his goal. Really getting back up to pre-break pace now.

I agree but I think his acceleration was there for all to see at Blackburn in the cup some time ago.
oldtype
Imagine if he could play like this consistently... A full season of that and I would have no sperm left at all.
Geordie Ahmed
Superb performance, I think we all know that this lad is a class act (well apart from that divv that wanted him to play in the reserves) and it is really clicking now. I still believe he should have been played more often earlier on BUT all's well that ends well. Just excited for the remaining 8 games of the season That trio of Ba-Cisse-Ben Arfa is just class, they still need to get used to playing with each other which is very exciting Even with just 1 more signing (LB) we could have a quality side for next season, Tiote in place of Guthrie, Saylor back in and Santon on the right
mrmojorisin75
christ imagine if pardews been right all along? instill a work ethic into him to win his place, means he's fit and fast and contributing whilst able to better utilize his obvious talent in a more physical league delighted he's starting to play well and pards is talking him up now...hopefully he sneaks into the france squad for the euros
Stottie
It was noticeable that both assists came with him on the left. It seems like Pardew has never trusted him as a team player, but he's been putting him on the right where he's far more likely to cut in and shoot. I feel that this only led to a vicious circle of him then being dismissed as selfish and confirming any prejudices Pardew has had against him. He's scored numerous times from the right recently, and in some games has been our major goal threat, so I'm not dissing him or him in that position. I just think it has been bad management to play him there and never on the left given his need to overcome the doubts over his overall contribution. If we're thinking of getting in another attacking player, it might be a good idea to look at someone who can drift right. Just as an option that is. I think Obertan has had enough chances now. I think a solution is Ba and HBA swapping sides through the game, to unsettle the other team. Then when on the right he can cut in and shoot... while on the left he can beat his man and whip in a delicious cross or cut back.
