This is one of the reasons I moan like f*** about our negative tactics when we have the chance to crush teams. We never build on our good play and go into the next match full of confidence. We should be brimming with confidence, and relishing a match against an open, attacking, passing side.

We've been timid as f*** tonight, not like a team that won the last four.

Absolutely bang on.

Something I always ask: when was the last time we truly went for the jugular against a team under Pardew?

Indeed.

Still some people on here goes on like everything is perfect

As soon as anything other than Pardews "plan" happening we are f***ed. Just nothing we can do or change to come back.

and some will go on like we are bottom of league 2 having been beaten 10-0 of St Bessies blind girl school.

Wow, what a surprise result and performance. Completely out of the blue.

You could never see this coming as everything was pretty much perfect as we had won 4 on the bounce.

Bad day at the office, everything went against us. Bad luck.

Well all we can do is get behind the lads and Pards and hope that we can start a new run.

Just an off night for us imo. The mistake from krul for 1-0 right before half time was a killer blow. We were playing well in the second half untill the own goal which was very unlucky, and sadly from then the heads have dropped. 3-0 is a slightly flattering scoreline for them. Still 12 points from the last 15 available isnt exactly bad.

Deserved to lose. Not 3-0 IMO, but we just predictably went about the game all wrong.

There's absolutely nothing proactive about Pardew, we'll never consistently get the best out of the players we have with him in charge.
