We'll win one of the cups and finish in a Europa/Conference position anyway when the places roll down the league.

CL is there if we can put a run together, hard as it is to see after days like today.

Just a half of what you're drinking and I'll be sound. 😆

I think it's best just to enjoy the CL while we are in it, I'm not really looking at next season's competition right now. We need to show we are actually better than half the other sides in the PL first.

We can’t be losing out to Tottenham or Villa though man. Thats why I find it hard to say I’m fine with Europa. There’s not a fifth team I can really be okay with being below - or already accept that we cannot catch. Tottenham were so far behind us AND share our burden of CL football.

Villa are playing in Europe too. We've just got to hope our signings come good. We know Eddie's new signings usually take awhile to settle in.

I have faith we'll sort out the league form soon, problem is there are no easy games anymore and we might run out of defeats we can afford.

The away form is a major major concern though and that needs sorting if we’re going to do anything in the league. Last season switching Tonali to that holding role made a huge difference. I think the fullbacks coming back will make a real difference to our overall play but there’s big questions over the likes of Joelinton and the wingers and that’s resulting in a lot of disjointed and unproductive play. West Ham surely has to be the Brentford moment from last season. That was unprofessional yesterday and they need to sort things out quickly sharp in the league.

I think the full backs will make a big difference when we come back, two more ball playing players on the pitch that can be an option to keep the ball higher up and provide that extra width will make a huge difference.

Wissa will also be another option that makes a big difference when we do win the ball back in situations, as good as big Nick is, his main ability is getting other players in goal scoring positions with his quick feet and accurate passing, but the wingers arent taking advantage of that. We miss the goals that the rat used to score on the shoulder of defenders, Wissa will give us that option back where everyone else has failed.

This is it. With us under Howe there's always the feeling that it's coming, sometimes performances like this are the catalyst as well.

It doesn’t feel like it based on our away form mind, if anything it’s getting worse. Only two goals scored away this season.

We said the same just after Brentford away last season. Yesterday makes every other away draw this season look worse as well I think.

Hall will be back available more after November break, but think people will be disappointed if they expect him to start more often then not. Considering he needs to build up match sharpness and we have games every 3-4 days, Burn will still be main LB for majority of that spell up to February.

At this point I’m not even thinking about Europe next season. Let’s just get a 90 minute performance first in the league and something good going before the derby. Really am fearing we could be 10 behind going into that game, woefully off form.

Correct. Last season we won once against the top 13 but easily beat the dross at the bottom. Can't even do that this season. I feel we are now finally beginning to miss the goals and overall threat of the rat. Nick has carried us last few weeks but we need a quick forward to run in behind the defences, especially away from home.
