Might put Man City off.

Might put us off as well. He has put contract talks on the shelf, both him and Botman were in line for big pay deals, and now you have to wonder how far we'll go to hold on to either.

nufc An update from Eddie Howe on Tino Livramento:

"We don't think it's a serious injury. The complication we have is that Tino has injured that knee before in a very similar area. That always makes the potential recovery time a little bit longer. I don't think we'll see him possibly before 2026."

Hope to see you back soon, @tinolivramento

This season was largely dependent on Tino playing 3x a week and he can't do it.

Remember when I said he didn't need to go away and play the U21's in the summer, considering the load he was expected to carry this season? Not to say that not playing would've prevented it. But Tino's minutes and health were an obvious major risk from day 1 that we did little to mitigate. We only have 3 fullbacks you can expect to win CL or PL football matches with. 1 is 35. Another was coming off a big injury and missed pre-season. Tino is the third and would deputise for either.

This is where having effective leadership (DoF) through the period would've been useful.

It was absolutely criminal he was allowed to play a kids tournament over the summer like. Couldn't believe it but then I could because it is

I've said it before but I get the feeling our players have a lot of power.

He stuck out like a sore thumb. The only one there who had played 3k+ minutes at the highest level and was expected to do more the next season.

Remember, people used to say "we have professionals in position now, they know what they are doing". In my armchair - I can tell you that we don't. It's been downhill ever since Ashworth and then Staveley left. Who has been taking care of the club? For at least a year, if not longer, nobody really.

It was a joke. Baffled how our end allowed him to go. Absolutely no need and very pointless.

To be fair, there aren't many days between now and 2026. Could very well see him in the middle of January if not sooner.

I was about to say the same. He potentially could only miss the next three games. Chelsea H, Man Utd A, Burnley A.
